This is the last stage in the process that communicates a message from Author to Audience. Storyforming is the first, Storyencoding and Storyweaving the next two, and finally Story Reception. Authors can work themselves to the bone and still produce a masterpiece that is not received well either due to marketing, poor casting choices, an incompetent director, a lazy editor, or a corrupt publishing house. All an Author can do is predict as best they can how an Audience will receive their work, but in the end the reception of the message is out of his or her hands.
