Influence Character Throughline

the impartial singular point-of-view in regards to conflict

In order to properly address our mind's understanding of conflict, a complete story must account for four distinct perspectives. The Influence Character Throughline offers the impartial singular "YOU" point-of-view. Here, conflict manifests as the result of an alternate perspective that challenges the Main Character Throughline's methodology. As a perspective, this point-of-view may be "handed-off" from one individual to the next.

The Influence Character is not a real person, nor are we—the Audience—interested in their personal view of conflict. The Author uses the Influence Character to show the Audience what conflict looks like from afar on an individual basis.
