Of Gods and Men

Without a Main Character Throughline to attach ourselves to, our attention wanes and empathy dies.

A disappointing one Act play that drags on and on. Watching this film resembles watching a phone call--a painful and meaningless endeavor. In addition, the lack of any clear Main Character Throughline makes it virtually impossible to become empathetic with the plight of these monks. Sympathetic yes, but true emotional resonance evades this one.

Great trailer, incomplete story.
